This is part two of a series on giving back, philanthropy, self actualization, activism and how they all come together. In this episode, I talk about the importance of embracing a lifestyle that reflects a reverence to our innate interconnectedness. If we truly want peace, we have to transform our perspectives and lifestyles. We must remember that the true power is in our hands. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
It’s time to paint a vivid, more realistic picture of what peace could actually look like. If we don’t have a clear vision, we can’t expect people to strive for it. In this episode, I offer some clear concepts on our path to peace.
- There are two ways of looking at life. One is that we are all interconnected, part of a living, breathing organism called Earth, or everything is separate. We are at a point now where it’s more important than ever that we choose a side.
- We have to start viewing the symptoms of the world’s maladies, such as war, climate change, misogyny, etc. as little signals from the universe that are attempting to get out attention. To wake us up.
- The role of the modern day activist and philanthropist is to start to paint a more vivid and realistic picture of what peace could actually look like. If we don’t have a clear vision, we can’t expect people to strive for it.
We need to begin to view the maladies of the world as signals that we are out of alignment. If we ignore them, we can be sure they will get worse.
